A Cold War experiment has opened a door it cannot close.

The year is 1963. A secret government agency runs a classified program called The Looking Glass — a technology that uses hemispheric synchronization waves to project a subject's consciousness into an astral plane, visualized on cathode-ray monitors. You are Subject 7, a grieving woman recruited for your extraordinary ability to reach further than any subject before you.
